Magic with coins and money

Let the coins talk...but prevent them from talking, coin king T. Nelson Downs already knew in his time. Coin wizards are a die-hard community and swear by the effectiveness of coin magic - and rightly so, of course. Purists swear by pure dexterity when handling coins, but of course there are tools here too...

The Attraction of Coin Magic

Money stinks... And yet everyone wants it. Money simply has an irresistible and undeniable attraction to mankind and, by extension, to spectators of coin art. After all, who doesn't dream of simply being able to reach for the air and produce a handful of five-franc coins, just like the magic of Miser's Dream?

As the saying goes, money doesn't grow on trees (but the paper it's printed on does). It represents power, influence, wealth. A person who can do what he wants with the money seems to be able to control these factors and is simply attractive as a result. I have no idea why there are single coin wizards. They would have to be as rare as Morgan Dollars or silver Liberty Halves. What does history show us? Who of the famous magicians like JB Bobo (author of Bobo's Modern Coin Magic), David Roth or Dean Dill is even single?!

The presentation of coin magic

Of course, coin art also needs careful staging. A coin that just disappears may seem extremely amazing for a brief moment, but that alone is not enough. Magic theory states that whatever disappears must appear again, or the magician's feat is not finished from the spectator's point of view. But you will learn all this with the help of our coin tricks, which can be found in our magic books and magic DVDs... little by little, until you can count yourself among the greatest coin magicians.
