Effect: A bill is borrowed from a member of the audience. The magician hands him a pen with which to sign the bill and examine it if he wishes (there is nothing in the magician's hands).

The magician takes back the pen and the bill and pierces the bill with the pen without making any funny moves. The audience can clearly see that the pen has punctured the bill.

He continues to visibly and audibly tear the pen through the bill, but when he hands it back to the viewer, the bill is unharmed! The pen and bill can then be handed over immediately for a full examination! The pen is 100% testable!!

That's right, nothing is added or taken away!! The pen may be written on and refilled.
