Table magicians work on a small scale, usually for a small number of spectators. So if you arrive late for the magic show or sit too far away, you could miss out on the little wonders! What the stage is for the illusionist, the table is for the table magician. The close-up pad is its territory and this is where the impossibilities happen.

The magician would do well to keep his hands clean and manicured as they will be in the spotlight throughout the show. After all, an illusionist would not appear on stage in a worn and soiled suit, otherwise even the greatest illusions and best magic tricks would fade in the eyes of the audience.
