Banknote Hike

A spectator lends you a banknote, which he can sign or mark immediately. The bill comes under a cloth and is held by another spectator.

Now bring out a brass container secured with a padlock. Give the container to another spectator.

Now the unbelievable happens: The first spectator confirms that the bank note is still under the cloth. They pull the cloth away from him, the bank note is gone.

Now hand the spectator a key and ask them to open the brass case that is in the hands of the other spectator. Without you touching the container again(!), the spectator can pull a banknote out of the container - it is the banknote that just disappeared and was signed!

You will receive the tube, lid, bolt, lock and key as shown - you would need to purchase the cloth separately if you wish to use this disappearance method.
